Welcome to Bookstacks and Barbells, where I blend the love for literature with the dedication to fitness. My mission is to help you achieve your health and fitness goals to live instead of living to diet and exercise.
Along with helping men and women of all ages in their health and fitness goals, I also have a huge passion to not only bring awareness but also help women with proper nutrition and exercise in the pre-natal and post-partum stages. No more peeing your pants after having babies, no more limiting yourself to just walking while pregnant. Just because you're a mum, doesn't mean your active lifestyle has to end.

Hullo and Welcome!
My name is Sarah, I am married to my husband Nick and we have two children, Lucy (4) and Killian, (3 months). We live in the PNW where we hike, skateboard and spend as much time as we can at any of the beaches. The ocean is our happy place so you'll find us there quite often.
Now, you're probably wondering how do books and exercise go together, right?
I am an avid book reader along with being a gym rat. If I'm not in the gym or outside, I am reading.
I am a part of the amazing Bookstagram community on Instagram and we readers all want one thing - To be able to enter the books we are reading - except, that brings up a question...
"would you survive in the first chapter"?
I love healthy living and fitness and became a certified personal coach to help men and women navigate past the scams of the fitness world (Aka fad diets, weight loss pills, ect) and get real and lasting results.
I decided I would do my exercise programs differently by creating them around fictional characters, books, and genres.
